By joining the Archaeological Divers Association, you are directly contributing to the preservation of our archaeological underwater heritage in the United Kingdom.

What Level of Membership?
If you wish to attend ADA Training Courses then you will need to join as an Associate Member.

Once you have completed training then you will need to upgrade to Full Member the following Year - you will receive an automatic upgrade upon qualification and your membership date will be reset; Your first year as a Full ADA Member is included in the Course/Project Fees.

Accredited Membership is for individuals who meet the requirements of the Diving at Work Regulations 1997 and are considered 'At work'.  This is generally reserved for individuals who are completing their Dive Supervisor Qualification.

Membership Level:

ASSOCIATE
An Associate Member is any individual who has an interest in Underwater Archaeology and is training towards one of the ADA Qualifications.

FULL
Full Members have completed their Archaeological Diver Award or NVQ Training and hold an SDSC-approved qualification but have not yet met the requirements of the Diving at Work Regulations 1997.

ACCREDITED
An accredited member of the ADA is an individual who has completed the Archaeological Divers Award Syllabus and holds a recognised qualification in accordance with current legislation.  All accredited members must hold a current HSE Approved (AMED) Diving Medical and meet the requirements of the Diving at Work Regulations 1997.

Membership lasts for 12 months from the date of subscription. ADA(UK) will contact you one month before your membership is due to lapse.  Once you have purchased your membership on-line, you will be sent a Welcome Pack which will include your Membership Certificate & Number. You will receive details of upcoming projects, as well as special and exclusive offers. You will NOT receive junk mail from Third Party Companies, nor will your details be passed to others.
